Boring!
Boring boring boring! Is it true that life is always been boring? Nothing to do all day… waiting for things, exciting things to happen, interesting unusual things to happen? Life is always unpredictable and not everything you wish to do / accomplish goes your way. Yes, this always happen… and it will always happen again and again in the future. You see, the world we live in today involves many other parties. What you wish to do involve decisions and actions from the other parties so planning everything on your side of things is one thing but to achieve the outcome is a whole different story! You can’t control how other people should do their things and plan their schedules… so eventually this draw back your planned schedules then you feel like being smashed in the head… and lost your momentum… then in the end… died away… Having thinking about this… I always failed in the pass because of these patterns that be occurring all the time! Have you experienced this? Recently, I came across a very interesting advertisement on the tv. It a recruitment clip for Singapore Navy.
In the clip, a guy Mr A, saw a new release movie ad starring by Himself! on a local newspaper. Surprised as he never knew he had taken up a acting role, he visited the Cinema.
In the movie he saw himself doing his house chores, watching tv and reading comics all day long… repeating day after another… He then starting to hear complaints and snoring from other audiences who had fallen to sleep!! Some even started to leave the theater! Then Suddenly the words “Is this the way you live you life?” appeared on the big screen!! Having thinking about this ad and my life…, hmm… Will people fall asleep watching what I do everyday? Do I live to tell a story of my own to my kids and grandsons? hmm… not at all! Ok ok… I don’t have any YET! I decided to create my own life story which I WILL enjoy telling others about it when I am in my ‘wheelchair’ days!! Just like my grand mum used to tell me about she leaping across a river to run away from a tiger! And Grand father who used to risked his life just to earn another penny to feed my parent and finally my mum’s hard work in the early morning hours to squeeze the soy beans to its very last drops! Then she would sell the soy milk to the local coffee shops to make a few dollars and I will have fresh soy milk to bring to school. Its so inspiring! All the determinations! Where has it gone in me? I wonder! I need to get in charge in my life! I need o be the driver within myself to achieve things that I had set to myself not letting the others’ decisions to decide where I end. I know you knew deeply in yourself too… you are not making the best film for yourself YET!! As for me, the film to excitement and taking charge has begun!
